Scardigan

As featured in the Stitches Magazine

Great idea to put over a short or long sleeve top, you could wear a printed top and do a plain scardigan :)

A pattern with instructions is for sale only $10

I used about 1.5mt of 150cm wide chiffon,

I stripped it in 1/2 having 2 strips 150cm x 75cm I joined each end with rolled hem stitch on the overlocker.

Then I used a back pattern from a basic top to cut a back & armhole

I then cut from the front shoulder down to the other joined end till the other end measured about 35cm, then joined the shoulders with rolled hem and rolled hemmed all edges. It feels great to wear and can be twisted many ways.
